Hostess Gifts

Talking cute hostess gifts today–great little items you can add to your usual flowers/chocolate/wine situation. They’re all amazing enough to gift on their own, too. Or you could just buy them for yourself and enjoy. We call that self-care.

First up are coffee table books. We love having a variety of these in our own homes, so giving this as a gift would be so thoughtful. Assouline books are usually our go-to, especially for fashion topics. Tulum Gypset is one of their latest titles, and it explores the bohemian magic of this little place that became a see-and-be-seen getaway spot for creatives and glamazons.

Next is this Brightland Oil set we keep hearing and reading about. Made from hand-harvested heirloom olives and able to handle high heat, these extra rich “EVOOs” would be a great gift for any home cook or elegant hostess. Plus, the packaging is so gorgeous that it ends up doubling as super-chic kitchen decor. We definitely want these for ourselves, too.

We might be late to the game on this, but Pottery Barn’s Samarkand fragrance line seems like its everything and more. The description of the scent sounds heavenly and design of each item within the collection is gorgeous–love the clean lines and minimalist vibe. The cone incense + plate stand is what we’d choose.

And last but not least are these beautiful flower cookies by Loria Stern. We’ve seen these all over Instagram and they look as amazing as they sound. I mean, who can resist shortbread cookies?! Such a great gift. But we’d definitely order another box, too…because #treatyourself, always.

The Knit, Boots, + Accessory We’re Eyeing

In today’s roundup of thrifty finds, we’re talking three specific items we are definitely adding-to-cart asap. We actually already got one!

First up is the sweetest little cardigan from and & Other Stories. Love the soft pink hue, cropped length, and puffed shoulder details. It’s so perfect to wear with high-rise denim, paper bag waist pants, or on top of a slip dress.

Next are these croc-embossed mango boots. It’s continuing with the knee-high and western-inspired boot trend, but in a super sleek, city-chic way. We can’t wait to order and wear these babies.

And last but not least are these padded velvet headbands from good old Amazon. We love how these add a cool, trend-right finish to even the most simple outfits. And on prime! Hello, fashion win.

Fall Boots + Accessories

So many cute $100 and under finds for today. We’ll start with a couple “look for less” options for the snakeskin Paris Texas boots we mentioned in a previous post. Because, come on, who doesn’t love a good snakeskin boot?

Ok, so these are slightly over the $100 mark at $105 but they hit all the right trends–knee high, curved top, block heels. Love.

Next up are these Asos Design boots–another great option that would look good with everything from jeans to midi skirts.

Pearl jewelry is another trend we are loving and this simple, delicate necklace from Maison Monik immediately caught our eye. It’s a great price point and would look amazing on its own or layered with other necklaces.

And last, we’ve got sheer black tights (with subtle detailing) on our minds. This lurex spotted pair from Pretty Polly is perfect, and would look so good with a belted blazer dress and sleek pumps.
